"The best things happen while you're dancing..." —Irving Berlin
Welcome to the Big Band Sound, under the direction of O.J. Cummins. This 21-piece swing band performs public and private engagements throughout the year around the Cumberland Plateau region and Middle Tennessee.
The next dance is Saturday, May 10, 2008, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m at the NEW Fairfield Glade Community Center in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. Tickets are $11 per person.
Dance clubs and classes are welcome. Tables seat 10, and early reservations are advised. Soft drinks and light snacks are provided. Other beverages and party foods are permitted, and can be brought into the facility by attendees.
Come ready to dance! Remember, as Mr. Berlin penned, and Danny Kaye sang in the classic film White Christmas... "even guys with two left feet, come out all right if the girl is sweet, if by chance their cheeks should meet while dancing."
