Welcome to the site of O.J.'s Big Band Sound, under the direction of Bill Schneider. This 21-piece swing band performs public and private engagements throughout the year around the Cumberland Plateau region and Middle Tennessee.
The next public performance is a dance at the Fairfield Glade Conference Center, May. 14, from 7-10 pm

The Big Band Sound performs in concert on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 at the Palace Theatre in Crossville, TN. The beautiful, historic Palace Theatre is located at 72 South Main Street, Crossville, Tennessee.

Big Band Sound members perform with the Southern Stars Symphonic Brass
Trombonist Carroll Gotcher, trombone/trumpet Jack Strotman, and trumpeter Jeff White are members of the Southern Stars Symphonic Brass. The group was founded by Dwight Wages, and is under the baton of Dr. Don Ryder, director of the University of Tennessee Symphonic Band and the "Pride of the Southland" marching band.
Members include professional musicians from the Knoxville and Bryan Symphony Orchestras, the Jack Daniels Silver Cornet Band, and with major nationally-known artists from Knoxville, Chattanooga, Crossville, Cookeville and the Nashville areas.
